A bit straight ahead for my taste, but there is no denying his talent. In his career he managed to play with Monk,Lenny Tristano,Marylin Crispell and a host of others, and his drumming on the free jazz classic Liberation Music Orchestra by Charlie Haden is brilliant,a testament to his ability to play a wide range of styles.
